"Goldfish" has such a bright, bubbly vibe to it! It was inspired by an Airbnb I stayed at while in Helsinki that had five goldfish. As a lover of aquariums and planted aqua scapes specifically, I've always been a little bit snobby when it comes to goldfish, but these little guys changed my mind completely! There was such an adorable zest for life in these little animals, I realized that they had their own little personalities and I had been totally wrong in my feelings surrounding goldfish. I tried to include the feelings I got from those little fish in this painting.
